Congratulations to Neil Brodie, one of our Assistant Beaver Scout Leaders, who was awarded his Wood Badge at the final Beaver Scout meeting of the year. It was presented by District Commissioner Neil Rowland.

Gaining the Wood Badge signifies that Neil has completed all his training to be a fully-warranted leader. Neil deserves considerable praise for all the time and hard work he has given to achieve this award. Very well done!

Scout Post 2019 Results

2019’s Christmas Post is complete! 8137 cards were delivered this year raising the over £2300 for Group Funds.

Thank you so much to all families who helped with delivering cards. We had a few rather wet and wild deliveries this year, but it didn’t deter us.

We would also like to thank those shops who collect cards from the public. Their support is invaluable and hugely appreciated.

Scout Post – Final Delivery

Thank you very much to everyone who has helped out with a delivery this year. The weather has not been particularly kind so everyone’s attendance and efforts so far are very much appreciated.

Saturday is the final delivery and the weather forecast is looking better. If you have helped with a delivery, you’ve done your bit – thank you. If you haven’t, please come along to Brucefield Church at 9.30 am on Saturday. If anyone wishes to help again then you certainly wouldn’t be turned away!
